A psychological thriller that could hardly be more contemporary. Actress Nina Wu gets by with part-time jobs. But one day her agent calls that she should audition for an important role in a star director's film. Wu got the role, but they've had strange hallucinations ever since. This role is a challenge, not least because it requires full nudity and explicit sex scenes, and the director of the film turns out to be very tough and uncompromising. In the end, however, both industry and the press are certain that the result is sensationally good. On the verge of this triumph, Nina's determination begins to crumble. She rushes back to her parents' home to deal with two crises: her father's business has gone bankrupt and her mother has had a heart attack. She dreams of rekindling the relationship with her childhood friend Kiki, but is haunted by paranoid fantasies ... While Nina clings to memories of happier times, there seems to be an event in the past that is suppressing her ...
