Five Things I don't understand

Everyday life/Family, Germany 2017

The 15-year-old farmer's son Johannes prefers to skip classes and roam around in the city rather than spend his time at school. He is neglected by his father and brother and so he seeks company with his best friend Marike. When their friendship gradually turns into love, Johannes no longer knows where he belongs. He goes hunting with the men, accompanies his brother through the night and closes himself off from Marike, who disappointedly turns away from him. Johannes tries to run away - but he cannot run away from himself.
