With four five-mark pieces in his pocket, the jabberwocky sets off. He meets the fox and the cat, two cunning crooks. They manage to get hold of Quassi's locker key. With his money they run away. Quasselkasper goes to the police and is locked up himself. After his release he meets the mole. Together with him, he wants to start a new life in a small house by the river.
